It might sound incongruous, but since arriving in France I have been watching more footy games than any time so far this year. Jim subscribes to some Telstra thing where he gets all footy games for the round 24 hours after the game has finished. He also has access to a bunch of older games.
We have seen both Brisbane and Essendon flog Collingwood, the Brisbane loss to West Coast, Richmond defeat Essendon and St Kilda flog Richmond.
A few days ago we indulged in a fairy tale and watched the 2001 Grand Final - such a great game, such fond memories!
Brisbane is looking pretty solid without being stunning at the moment and should make the final eight in September. Are they a serious premiership contender? Always.
